About David Phelps
Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
My family is complete with a loving wife, son, daughter and our two labs.
Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I am a Nurse Practitioner (NP). My career began as an EMT in the back of an ambulance. I went on to work as an ER tech, ICU nurse, flight/trauma nurse and ultimately a critical care nurse practitioner. I’ve always had a passion for helping people in their most critical illness. Naturally, as my career progressed, I became interested in mental illness and completed all the training and education to become a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMNHP). I now own and operate Conquest Health in Haymarket as a single-provider mental health clinic with the goal of providing personalized psychiatric services to my community.
