Hello,
I’m Joe Bouch and we have lived in Gainesville since 2010. I’ve been married for 18 years to my beautiful wife Erin. And we have two kids, Riley(15) and Liam (12). I own JCB Carpet Cleaning and have been in business for 24 years.
About Joe Bouch
Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
We are a family of 4. My daughter Riley is 15 and attends Gainesville HS. My son Liam(12) attends Gainesville Middle. My wife Erin is a fifth grade teacher at Glenkirk Elementary School.
Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I have owned JCB Carpet Cleaning since 2000. We clean residential/commercial carpets/upholstery and tile. Love working for the community!
Q: What advice would you give to people?
I would advise people to prioritize their physical and mental well-being by maintaining a balanced and healthy lifestyle. This includes getting regular physical activity, eating a nutritious diet, staying hydrated, getting enough sleep, and managing stress. It’s also important to nurture positive relationships and seek support when needed. Additionally, engaging in activities that bring joy and fulfillment can contribute to a sense of overall well-being. Lastly, staying informed about health issues and seeking professional medical advice when necessary is crucial for maintaining good health.
Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
In ten years, I see myself getting ready to retire. Kids will be gone (hopefully) and Erin and I can start thinking about where we would like to retire.
Joe Bouch & Our Community
Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
My favorite restaurants in the area are Firebirds, Bone Fish, and Uncle Julio’s.
Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
We have lived here since 2010
Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
John Fillipone is the most interesting person that I’ve met here. John runs Piedmont auto repair here in the Gainesville area. And also Piedmont location in Haymarket.
Q: What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about our community?
Piedmont Tire and Auto is one of my favorite businesses in the area. They are the most honest and reliable auto repair shops in the area. They are the best!
Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
I like the Gainesville/Haymarket area mostly because we are minutes from the country. Wineries, breweries, and live music is never too far away. I’m not someone who likes to be near a city or too many people. There’s a country feel out here that I really do enjoy!
Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
I would love to go have lunch with Dolly Parton. I love county music and would love to hear her tell some stories from all her years on the road. We would eat at Craftworx. There’s a stage there so hopefully she would get up a play a few songs.
For Fun
Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?

Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
One of my ancestors worked closely with Abraham Lincoln during his presidency.

Pickleball for exercise and fun!
Q: Who inspires you to be better?
My wife and kids inspire me to be better.
Q: Finally, what word comes to mind when you think of the word HOME?
Comfort
