Born in Ukraine, I came to America in 2008 as an au pair to a beautiful and hustling Northern Virginia. Sixteen years and four children later I now own and operate a small business bookkeeping and personal daily money management company with my husband in Prince William County. Over the years, I’ve built deep connections within the community, blending my cultural heritage and experiences with a passion for helping others manage their financial well-being. From balancing family life to building a trusted business, my journey reflects a blend of resilience, growth, and a commitment to supporting those around me.
About Anna Koblos
Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
My husband Stephan and I are blessed with four sweet energetic young children, two floofy cats, and a handsome senior pug, who is young at heart. The War in Ukraine has brought my mom to live with us here in Dominion Valley.
Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I provide small business bookkeeping, daily money management, and consulting services to small business owners and busy professionals locally and across America. My favorite part about it is the ability to release stress, tension, and uncertainty from my clients’ shoulders by painting a clear financial picture, identifying issues, and navigating through solutions together. Seeing my clients strive, grow, and succeed is incredibly rewarding!
Q: What advice would you give to people?
Every situation has a positive side. Focus on that part!
Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
I don’t look that far ahead. I embrace the present and navigate one day at a time. So many things can change rapidly. My home country has been exposed to an unexpected war that threw all sorts of curve-balls into millions of lives. Today, I am simply happy my family is alive and healthy. I keep myself open to all possibilities and opportunities life has to offer.

Northside 29 Restaurant, Hidden Julles Cafe, and The Culture Cup
Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
We moved to Dominion Valley in Summer of 2019. We absolutely love being engaged and a part of our community.
Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
My friend Anna Woodward. She is an elementary school teacher in Fairfax County, a caring wife, and loving mother of two well mannered, polite, and respectful boys. She is one of the strongest, creative, reliable, kind, and most positive people I’ve ever met. Even in her current battle with cancer, she keeps her attitude bright and cheerful.
Q: What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about our community?
We haven’t lived here long enough to build a feeling of nostalgia. We definitely miss BurgerIM, that welcomed us with out first meal upon our arrival to our new house. We had the most delicious chicken wings, sliders, and fries.
Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
We cherish our local hiking trails as peaceful escapes from the busyness of life, offering our family meaningful time to bond and share in the magic of nature.
Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
It would be Jim Gaffigan. He seems to be a kind of person who makes positive out of every situation and accepts life’s challenges with a sense of humor and irony. That aligns with my outlook as well. Locally, Northside 29 Restaurant probably would be my number one option for a delicious healthy meal and great ambiance.
